Thank you Joette for the personalized information you gave me regarding my tooth. Since taking the remedies (only 3 cell salts together), my tooth problem went from being a painful, worrisome problem with the threat of a root canal, to an occasional whimper of a problem. When it hurts, it a fraction of the pain and it only happens occasionally instead of many times daily.
But there's even more that I have to report. My sleep is back to normal, my hands are improved (no more zingy feeling); the hot flashes are gone, too. I used to have to take all-out naps every day, but now my energy is so improved, that I only take a 5 minute snooze and I'm up and at 'em again. Thank you Joette for your guidance….Oh! and the mark on my forehead has gotten smaller!

Well, I'm thrilled to report your wisdom and my ignorance: Just as you suggested, so it has happened. There's a distinct "softening" of the whole condition - no butterflies in my stomach as I lie down at night to attempt the impossible, no more feelings during the day of being awash in adrenaline, no more heart palpitations, and best of all, about 3+ hours of sleep every night! After a year of hell and cycling through every alternative and mainstream approach known to mankind and with no change at all, here it is - PROGRESS. Also, the Nat Phos, which I had to wait to get until Saturday (as the local store didn't carry it), seems to be doing the trick, as well. Wow - I'm so excited, Joette!

I have rheumatoid arthritis…well…maybe I should say I had rheumatoid arthritis. It has not only blown my mind, but my rheumatologist's mind too. He's still scratching his head. When I first sought Joette's help, my joints were like those of a 90 year old. Joette taught me about the use of Nat Sulph in water to help with my breathing during the oppressively hot days in this area.
This past Friday was supposed to be a hot one. I wanted to take a morning walk to get some fresh air, exercise and check out my neighborhood (I rarely get outdoors for pleasure; I'm in the car back and forth to work and activities or events; So I've begun to walk on the weekends and whenever else that I can).
I was worried about the air so I decided that if it was too difficult to breath I would use our gym to get exercise. I was planning to inhale once I got outdoors and that would let me know whether or not to walk.
Well, I got outside and found it hot, but not oppressive. Heat doesn't bother me when I'm not dressed up. Anyway, I completed my walk with no strain and even went further than I'd planned.
It wasn't until I got back inside and heard the weather report that it dawned on me that something was different. I asked my daughter, to check the air and she confirmed that it was reported as being oppressive.
I then remembered that I hadn't been bothered by the air for a while even though it had been hazy, hot and humid here.
It had to have been the effects of the Nat Sulph, which I'd taken more than a week prior to this walk.

I'm a physical therapist and last year had a trigger finger in my thumb. That means I couldn't bend the left interphalangeal joint without intense pain. Even if I could withstand the pain, I couldn't use my thumb and forefinger to grasp because it seized up. Needless to say, it interfered with my ability to work. It was like this for over 3 months.
Out of desperation, I went to the doctor and let him give me a cortisone injection. OH MY GOSH, was that painful! He told me I would get full relief within 24 hours. Three weeks later, no change in the pain and flexibility…not even a small amount.

Wait! There's more. I've suffered from hypothyroidism for years. My doctor told me I should be on Synthroid. No thanks, I said. Have you read the side effects?

After having pneumonia last year I knew it was time to quit smoking once and for all. In one of Joette's classes, she taught us about a homeopathic product called "Stop Smoking" available from Washington Homeopathic Products. Within about a week or so of taking it, I quit and didn't have another cigarette from November to January.
Then in January, a friend left a pack of cigarettes in my apartment and I succumbed to the temptation for a day or so. But took the "Stop Smoking" again and haven't' had another one since!

I started using homeopathy 16 years ago as an alternative modality for a sick kitty. Recently, I found myself looking for its healing powers for myself. Two years ago, I injured my back, while trail running. The pain was becoming progressive and debilitating as the days, weeks and months passed.

I'm not a believer or a disbeliever of homeopathy or modern medicine. I'm just one who needs to see results.
Two months ago, I was sick with a doosey of a cold/flu. And I finally started to feel like myself, except for one thing.
I had a plugged right ear that started when I got the fever. I couldn't hear anything out of it; even a month after the flu was over. I tried everything, but nothing made a difference.
Then I talked with Joette. She told me that Kali sulph 6x has a reputation for unplugging ears, particularly after an infection. So I took it every few hours and in 24 hours my hearing was 90% back! A few more days of the stuff and there's no plugged feeling and I can hear again!
Now what did I hear about placebo?

While babysitting my precious 1 ½ year old niece, I decided to take her on a walk. It wasn't until we were well underway, however, until I realized that I had been a little too ambitious. The wind was biting and whipped her blonde hair out from under her snug cap. By the time we reached home, we were both thoroughly chilled and snuggled up with a blanket, milk and cookies.
But I wasn't convinced that we could get off so easily. I didn't want to wait until she got sick to give her a remedy, so I quickly chose Aconitum 30, the way Joette taught me. I remembered, among some other factors, that it was good for illness that came on after being exposed to cold winds. I thought it would be worth a try.
So, prophylactically, my brave little niece took her dose. When my sister came home, I confessed having taken her little one on a chilly walk and that I'd given her a remedy, in the hopes that she wouldn't be left with a sick baby.
What happened was quite the contrary and this is where my sister's account picks up….
That night I went to give my daughter a bath, but dreaded it as it was always a source of anxiety for both of us. I had taken a chance when she was a baby and brought her into the shower with me once, but it did more harm than good. She had been scared of the bath ever since, and for the seven months that followed, she would scream, tense up, and sob the entire time.
She would stand but never sit in the water, and she couldn't handle any water being poured on her at all - heaven forbid I attempt to wash her hair. She would hold onto my arms and ask to be all done. It was so stressful.
That night, I began the bath very slowly as usual, but my daughter's behavior shocked me. She actually helped undress herself and climbed into the tub! She immediately sat her little self down and began playing with toys. Within a few minutes, she was using a cup to pour water over her head!
I believed the dose of Aconitum was the reason she so peacefully overcame her fear of the bath. I was right. When I read my sister's Materia medica, anxiety is eliminated by the use of Aconitum! I am so thankful for homeopathy!

As an employee of Johnson's Village Pharmacy, I've worked closely with Joette professionally. I was especially thankful to have access to her expertise last month when one of my family's dairy cows was paralyzed and on the floor with milk fever after calving.
Unfortunately, with this condition, if the cow remains unable to stand up after some time it must be put down.
Our cow Suzie, had been down for several days after many doses of calcium and other methods. We had given up hope when I contacted Joette. Since it was a dire situation, Joette responded immediately with her timely information regarding Suzie's situation.
I gave Suzie two doses of Calc carb that evening and after an additional dose the next morning, we found her standing up in the barn that morning! She had also been given a mixture of calcium, potassium and phosphorus in an IV, but she had been getting that for a day or so before the remedy, so it was definitely the remedy that worked so quickly.
And the next day, she was able to be led to pasture! Within a week, Suzie was back with the rest of the milk cows and has regained her strength thanks to homeopathy and Joette's knowledge!

After reading an article recently about the increase in illness in American children due to modern medical practices such as overuse of vaccinations and antibiotics, it confirms what I see in my own children. Dear Joette,
I wanted to follow-up with you and let you know how wonderfully well my daughter, Dina is doing now. It was about a year ago that I called you, terrified because of her visual and aural hallucinations and withdrawn aspect.
You taught me how to use homeopathic remedies. Initially Dina refused to take the remedy.
At a certain point, she no longer wanted to talk about the visual and aural hallucinations with me, and I respected that; a few months ago, she told me that they had completely stopped!
Today is my daughter's first day at school and I can't tell you how abundantly grateful I felt, sending her off, smiling happily. This is a bright, creative, gifted, wonderfully kind and empathetic kid with a bright future ahead of her.
I cannot fathom what we went through a year ago, with neurologists telling us she was mentally ill, suffering from a form of psychosis, and in need of psychiatric care!
The only changes we made are the ones I mentioned: homeopathy, introducing Biokult probiotic along with fermented cod liver oil, and removing her from certain exposures.
Also, her mild asthma and allergies seem to be contained!
Mental illness still has an incredible stigma, and no one we know would ever guess what Dina has been through.
If we'd taken a different route, we could have subjected her to prolonged psychiatric meds, traumatized her, made her feel flawed as a human being.
Instead, she is vibrantly happy.
The only problem with using an effective remedy like Anacardium is that it appears to have worked so well and so quickly that Dina's grandparents doubt what we suffered. Also, what we were up against and they feel comfortable imagining that we had overreacted to something minor. I know differently. I hope that my experience will help others!

Hi Joette,
For many years I have learned at your knee, the incredible, miraculous, unbelievable at times, wonders of homeopathy! It works, I know it works, I've seen it work; over and over again. Yet, each time, I am still taken aback and amazed; marveling at the gentle and beautiful way it brings illness to resolution.
I could give you so many, many examples from small to big. But the one I will share and thank you for, from the bottom of my heart today, is for my daughter, Jenna's 3 month old baby girl.
Jenna came for Christmas with the baby to find many relatives with one virus after another. Confident with the fact that her breast milk would protect her baby, she tried not to worry. Unfortunately, the baby did get sick.
It hit her lungs and she went from the happy, smiling, gentle, sweet and alert child she normally is, to being completely limp in her mother's arms. She opened her eyes and began to smile at everyone. She stopped moaning and began cooing again. Her cough was not as intense. It was a miracle indeed. The miracle of homeopathy. No one could deny it, even family skeptics.
After 4 doses of the remedy, the baby continued to improve. We gave her the same remedy in a 200c per your advice, to push the illness to complete resolution since it was obviously helping her.
My daughter left for home in New York yesterday. I spoke with her today and she said, the baby has not coughed, her congestion is gone, her nose stopped running and she is as though she were never sick. All in a matter of little more than 2 days!!
Can you imagine what would have happened if they took her to the hospital? She would have been plied with antibiotics and steroids to open her breathing passages and the suppression instead of resolution, would have begun.

PS. My husband just informed me that it was not 15 - 20 minutes before the baby's demeanor changed, but more like 5 -10!! I believe he's right. I think for the grand-"mother," every second seems more like a minute. Aaahhh, homeopathy, it's a beautiful thing!

Making the transition from RN in critical care to my life's vocation as a Catholic wife and mother was wrought with many unexpected changes, not the least of which was my frustration with what I had known regarding health care!
As an RN, I had known nothing about homeopathy, and when I became a mom, I realized that what I knew in mainstream medicine did not serve me well in soothing and healing my children. Their illnesses often required a visit to the doctor, followed by a prescription of antibiotics and sometimes even steroids.
What was frustrating was that I often received nothing more than the advice that there was nothing to do to heal the illness, and to just have recourse to over-the-counter medicines to try and relieve my child's symptoms.
My heart told me that there had to be a better way!
A friend had success treating her infant daughter's blocked tear duct with homeopathy, and interest in this gentle and amazing method of healing began. The homeopathic theory of "like heals like" made such sense to me!
However, it was not until I took a series of classes from Joette that I felt confident to try using homeopathy for my family.
My first homeopathic success was with my daughter, who was 5 years old at the time and had gotten what looked like a case of conjunctivitis, an inflammation of the mucous membrane that covers the eye and the inner surface of the eyelids. My friend has been working with Joette and because of her improvement from Rhus tox, she thought I might also benefit from it. As a dear friend, she gave me a bottle and I have been taking it for a little over a week. 6 granules, 3-4 times a day.
Most of my DeQuervain's (tendinitis) symptoms have disappeared and I have experienced remarkable improvement with my rheumatoid arthritis.

Hi Joette, I am reading your article in Wise Tradition's Winter 2010 issue about your son's 105 degree fever. Something similar happened to me when my son was an infant. He had a fever of 106 degrees.
I don't remember the homeopathic remedy I gave him but the fever was gone in about a half hour also.
His doctor did not believe that he could possibly have had a temp that high. That was enough right there, to turn me off and steer me to the remedies that I had. I still use homeopathy even more so today. Homeopathy works.

Last Friday night my wife and I were vacationing in Colorado. I'm a Level II PSIA ski instructor. This means I'm suppose to be a good, seasoned, rational skier.
But something happened that night. As I started off down one of the more difficult ski hills, not everything was working as it should have.
Right in the middle of traversing a steep section, my legs and skis didn't turn the right way, and my body was thrown into a forward catapult. The back of my head struck the ground, making a frightening snapping sound in my neck, while the rest of my body continued into a forward roll.
When I finally came to, my first inclination was to feel my toes and fingers – I honestly considered the possibility that I had broken my neck. When I could indeed wiggle, I was left only with an incredibly painful neck and a spacey, out of body sensation. It took me some time to pull myself together as people gathered around me.
Somehow, I got my shaky, disorientated and painful self back to the room. I don't even remember that part. I submitted myself to my adoring wife – who just happens to be a homeopathy student of Joette's.
Now, I must admit, I used to be a skeptical man, but I've learned through the years that this stuff works and there's no doubt that I was willing to get some much needed relief.
But what happened next surprised me.
It took 4 pills and 15 minutes later, my neck pain went from a 10 to a 5!….so did the shocked, shaken and weak sensation!
In 15 minutes!
But it gets better. Over the next two days I felt so much improved, that I taught 16 hours of ski lessons, which included a couple of classes of 3-5 year olds. This means that I had to bend over tens of times and pick up each child throughout the day….often with them hanging on my neck! And no pain!
Now, five days later and a call to Joette Calabrese, my wife is greatly encouraged (now having had her ability validated by Joette) and I am almost back to normal. Yes, the pain is still present but only as a 1 on that scale of 10.

About a year ago, my husband and I went to a new dentist. Money was extremely tight and we couldn't afford our regular dentist so we used a coupon and went to another dentist. Now, just to give you a little background, I have only had 2 or 3 cavities in my lifetime. When we went to the dentist, Paul and I were told that we both had 3 cavities, Paul had one that was effecting two teeth. I was shocked. Paul gets cavities from time to time but I couldn't believe that we both had three at once.
We decided not to get them filled. Upon your teachings, I increased my intake of Calc flour 6x and Calc phos 6x. Paul did not. We both continued to drink raw milk, also as a result of your teachings.
We received new health insurance which had dental coverage and our favorite dentist accepted our new insurance. On Valentines Day, we went back to our regular dentist and NO CAVITIES were found!!!! Was it because we went to a different dentist or did our body heal itself of the cavities?.....you decide. I come from a family with a lot of doctors, and so I have conventional medical care readily available. I love and respect every niece, nephew and in-law with a medical degree, but not one of them, as well intended as they have been, has helped me. Nor have their colleagues. Actually, the meds they've offered only made me worse.
This is why, and the only reason why, decades ago I stopped asking for their help and turned to a more intelligent and curative method: Homeopathy.
I'm in my 80's now and have suffered with chronic osteoarthritis. Sometimes it was milder; other times it kept me on the couch for days. But in the last years since I've been working with Joette, I've had very few flare-ups, and when they do come as meek as they are now, I take the remedy and I'm well in hours.
As the years pass, I'd label it only a little discomfort if I've over-gardened or walked too long.
I was told previously that arthritis only gets worse as you age, but I've found the exact opposite to be true. I think the reason they say this, is because they can't help arthritis like homeopathy can, so all they've witnessed is suffering.

Several years ago (about 6), I took your advise of using garlic olive oil for my ear infections and it worked wonders.
At the time, I was getting monthly ear infections which were excruciatingly painful. We later discovered that they were the result of an antibiotic I took for mastitis.
I bought a bottle of garlic olive oil in a small tincture size bottle with a dropper from Feel Rite when you gave me the suggestion. I still use the same bottle (which I store in my fridge) whenever anyone in the family complains of ear pain. Usually one dose takes care of it! Thanks Joette!

I have been meaning to send you an email to thank you for fixing me, but I have had too much energy to sit at my computer!! Auntie Joette, I am so happy right now. IIn May 2010, Little Lizzy, my three-year old daughter, woke up with very labored breathing and taking a short breath every second or two. She also had congestion. I gave her some cell salts to try to help her. Nothing was helping. After 8 hours, I took her to her pediatrician because I was afraid and unaware of what this type of breathing might do to her oxygen level. Things are going very well for me now. It looks like we are making major progress on my feet and urinary symptoms as well as other sundry health issues. After surgery to correct a bone problem, my foot got an infection that lasted over a year, even though I was diligent with caring for it and took antibiotics daily.
The infection, however, became gangrenous and I had surgery to remove a toe and a side of my foot.
Still, the infection didn't end. It was at this time that I learned about Joette Calabrese. She educated me to the homeopathic remedies to be taken daily and a dressing to keep the area clean. My son, Michael, was diagnosed with Crohn's disease 6 years ago at 16. We were told by the specialist that there was no cure and no known cause and that Mike would have to take medication for the rest of his life.

I'm using Mag phos 6x for leg cramps and it works like a charm. I put four pills in hot water, then take a sip every few minutes. The leg cramps are usually gone within 10 minutes. I've also noticed that instead of getting these pains nearly nightly, they now come only once weekly and are much milder. Joette taught me.
